Information handled by the site

Guided troubleshooter: answers remain in component memory in the current browser tab. The tool does not submit answers, models, serial numbers, locations, or technician briefings to RV Tech Lab.

Direct email: if you email hello@rvtechlab.com, the recipient receives the address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send.

Hosting: the hosting and network providers necessarily process requests needed to deliver and protect the site, such as network and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs under their own service terms.

Google Analytics

When the production environment includes a Google Analytics identifier, the site loads Google Analytics to measure page use and improve content. Google may process browser, device, approximate-location, referral, page, session, cookie or similar identifier, and network information according to the configured property and Google's terms. RV Tech Lab's page-view configuration removes URL fragments so article-to-questionnaire presets are not included in the reported page location.

The site does not send troubleshooter answers to Google Analytics.

Affiliate destinations

If a page contains an affiliate link, opening the merchant site allows that merchant and its service providers to handle the request under their own privacy and tracking practices. See the affiliate disclosure.

Questions and requests

Privacy rights and available requests depend on the applicable jurisdiction and the organizations holding the data. Email hello@rvtechlab.com with a privacy question. Do not include appliance serial numbers or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for the request.
