Affiliate Disclosure

Amazon Associates
RV Tech Lab is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
How it works
Some links in our repair guides — specifically in the "Tools Needed" and "Parts Needed" sections — are affiliate links. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, we receive a small commission (typically 1–4% of the purchase price) from Amazon at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.
Amazon may set a cookie on your browser when you click an affiliate link. This cookie is used to attribute a commission to us if you make a qualifying purchase within 24 hours. We do not receive any personal information about you from Amazon.
How we choose what to link
Affiliate commissions do not influence which tools or parts we recommend. Every item linked in our guides is there because the repair genuinely requires it — the recommendation comes from the diagnostic process, not from what earns a commission.
We link to specific products when there's a meaningful reason to (e.g., the correct spec matters for safety or compatibility). When any comparable product will do, we describe the item without linking to a specific brand.
How affiliate links are marked
Any page containing affiliate links displays a notice near the top of the relevant section:
“Some links below are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.”
The site footer also displays the Amazon Associates disclosure on any page with Amazon affiliate links.
