⚠️ Smell propane? CO alarm sounding?

Don't look for a technician yet. Get everyone out of the RV, shut off the propane tank valve if it's safe to reach, and call 911. Find a technician after the immediate danger is handled.

Find a Mobile RV Technician

Some RV repairs — gas valves, sealed combustion, live 120V work — should only be done by a certified technician. Mobile RV techs come to your campsite or driveway, and the two industry directories below let you search for certified, independent technicians near you.

Why certification matters

RV systems combine propane, 120V and 12V electrical, and plumbing in a vehicle that shakes down the highway — a combination no residential trade covers end to end. Certification programs (RVTI, RVTAA) test technicians on exactly these systems. Certification is a useful signal, not a guarantee of workmanship — which is why you should still confirm the basics below.

Confirm before you hire

Confirm these directly with the technician or their network — before work begins:

Our relationship with these directories: none. RV Tech Lab has no financial relationship with RVTI or RVTAA, receives nothing when you use them, and does not vet, employ, or recommend individual technicians. These are independent third-party directories with their own terms and privacy practices.
